The most scenic route to reach Relleu from Alicante International Airport is to travel north on the N332 road.

We are never far from the sea and passing through Campello we head on towards beachside Villajoyosa. Here we turn inland and a pleasant 15 minute journey through sun washed countryside brings us to the charming village of Relleu.

Our journey from the Airport has taken little more than half an hour.

Within walking distance of the village is the site for the BENISOL VILLAS. Views are out over the countryside.

A good number of British families have made the area their home and, as is typical in Spain, are warmly welcomed by friendly and gregarious locals. Relleu has all the amenities one would expect - a selection of little shops, banks, medical facilities plus the usual range of bars and restaurants.

Those looking for more extensive facilities will want to visit nearby Villajoyosa.

Originally a fishing village, the town has now become an important tourist resort.

Villajoyosa has a long promenade, fishing port, yacht club and two super beaches - Playa Centro and Playa el Torres.

Benidorm needs no introduction. Just half an hour from Relleu this internationally famous holiday resort has everything a holiday maker (or resident) could wish for. Close to Benidorm is Terra Mitica - Spain’s answer to Disneyland.

Golfers will be pleased to know that a dozen or so courses can be reached within an hours drive of Relleu.
