There are plenty of little restaurants here - plus a couple of beach bars. Service is excellent and prices are a fraction of what we are used to in the UK. A supermarket serves the local community as do a number of small shops.
The larger resort of Rincon de la Victoria is within a 10 minute drive. Torre del Mar and Nerja (both beachside resorts with a wealth of attractions) can be reached within 20 minutes or so.
Anoreta Golf Course is on the doorstep - apart from the obvious attraction of the Golf Course we can thoroughly recommend a visit to the restaurant and bar at the clubhouse (open to non-members).
